The history of Italtrans Racing Team begins with the motorsport passion of Germano and Claudio Bellina, supported by the entrepreneurship of Laura Bertulessi. The two brothers who founded Italtrans love adrenaline and speed.

Germano is a real enduro rider, while Claudio takes part in numerous editions of the Dakar in the Sahara in Africa, then in South America and the Saudi Arabia.

It's 2001 and they decide to become sponsor of a great friend, Roberto Locatelli, who the year before became World Champion in the 125 class.

The Italtrans logo stands out on the suit of the rider from Bergamo until 2009, when he decides to officially retire from racing.

2010 is a very important year for the MotoGP history with the end of the 2-stroke engines era and the entry of 4-stroke engines. Moto2 officially born. This is a very important moment, a turning point, an opportunity that the Bellina brothers do not want to miss. It's the right time to take an important step and get into the heart of the competition. Equal terms for everybody, with engine Honda (Triumph since XNUMX), with the chassis free of choice. The dream became true: Italtrans Racing Team is born! It's the beginning of a story of great passion that has lasted for over 10 years!

Over the years the team achieved important successes, until it won the World title in the most particular and tough season: in 2020 Enea Bastianini and Italtrans Racing Team became Moto2 World Champions. A sweet, coveted, deserved success.

In the following years the team continued its commitment in Moto2 with young and emerging riders.
