Italtrans Racing Team 2021
The 2021 Italtrans Racing Team season officially begins.
The presentation of the new lineup was held on Friday 26 February at 18.00 pm, live streaming on the team's official social channels.
An event full of emotions, conducted with great sympathy by Paolo Beltramo, during which the reigning World Champion Enea Bastianini also spoke together with the manager Carlo Pernat: an opportunity to celebrate the success achieved in 2020, as the best preamble before enter the heart of a new season in which Italtrans Racing Team will be the reference team in the intermediate class.
After the extraordinary success of winning the title together with Enea, the Bergamo team is preparing to participate in the MotoGP World Championship for the 12th consecutive season, renewing its commitment with great passion.
Lorenzo Dalla Porta is preparing for his second season in Moto2 after the discreet debut last year and the experience gained as Moto3 World Champion in 2019. The Tuscan rider continues his growth path and takes to the track with the aim of confirming himself among the best protagonists in the category.
Next to him is the new entry, the American Joe Roberts. Originally from Malibu, California, the 23-year-old will face his fourth full season in Moto2 after the excellent results achieved in 2020 with three pole positions and a podium.
In a few days, exactly from 2 to 3 March, the team will take to the track in Portimao for two days of testing. It will then move to Losail for the tests on 19-20-21 March before the official start with the Qatar Grand Prix on 28 March.
Everything is ready to face a season full of news, challenges and great emotions.
